Her mom asked me to use the oranges and yellows of lilies so I combined several different softer than soft yarns here that include acrylic, silk, cotton, merino and cashmere. I think with this cap on Lily could easily hide in a bed of tiger lilies and no one would find her.

This whimsical Pussy Cap, custom made for a client in Texas, is made from a unique yarn from Nepal that's handspun using recycled silk saris that were shredded before being respun into yarn. Every skein of this yarn is different making for an endless variety of Pussy Caps even when they're using the same yarn.
From the famous Japanese Noro yarnmakers comes this earthtoned soft wool with pink and powder blue accents. Throughout most of the cap it's been coupled with a soft, white Italian mohair. A snug fitting cap that still has a lot of stretch for any sized head.
